Telehealth FAQ

Please read for information about participating in telehealth visits with your doctor. If you have any trouble, please do not hesitate to call our office!

How do I know whether my appointment is in person or telehealth?

If you had an appointment scheduled that was supposed to be in-person, a member of our team will call you to notify you that it will be done over telehealth. If you have not received that phone call, or if you are unsure, please call our office to clarify.

What can I expect before my telehealth appointment?

1-2 days before your appointment, a member of our team will reach out to you to gather some information from you (your current phone number, address, insurance, etc.). During that phone call, our team member will remind you that appointment will take place via telehealth. Please make sure to give an accurate phone number or email address! This is how your provider will contact you for your appointment!

What can I expect the day of my appointment?

You will receive either a text/email from your provider to join the visit on an application called MyChart OR you will receive a phone call from your provider.

Make sure you have reasonable privacy for the duration of your appointment. Please plan to be at home. Avoid public places or joining the visit while driving.
