Operations Specialist - Front Desk, Scheduler, Medical Records

Our Health Operations team is looking for top talent in Metro St. Louis to work as an Operations Specialist! As a member of the Operations team, you have the opportunity to learn different aspects of the health care field. This includes being cross trained to work as a(n): Operator, Front Desk Receptionist, Appointment Scheduler, Correspondence Clerk, or Medical Records Clerk. Responsibilities:
- Handling all telephone system changes, ie. Telephone numbers, changing messages, as well as acting a system troubleshooter.
- Receiving and answering all incoming phone calls, scheduling patient appointments, and creating tasks with detailed messages for all staff.
- Screening calls for providers and routing them to the appropriate clinical staff.
- Greeting incoming patients and visitors utilizing excellent customer service skills
- Ensures that consent forms are completed by patients annually.
- Obtains financial documentation from each patient/family unit to acquire information for the Center’s Sliding Fee Scale Program.
- Utilizes the telephone and paging system to help patients receive services they need.
- Creates and updates patient Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Assist patients in participating in special programs by giving out applications and assisting patients in the completion of applications.
- Payment collections
- Schedules appointments for patients in person or via telephone, monitors cancellations, and reschedules appointments.
- Log all incoming and outgoing requests for information about the patient’s HER.
- Copy patient charts as requested and notify Custodian of Records immediately when patient charts are requested from an outside source.
Enrollment & Outreach Coordinator
Family Care Health Centers is seeking a full-time experienced Enrollment & Outreach Coordinator to work as an integral role in our health care team environment. This position is responsible for outreach and enrollment assistance for current patients of Family Care Health Centers, as well as, residents in the Center’s service area regarding their health insurance options under the federal insurance exchanges, MO Health Net and CHIP. The Enrollment & Outreach Coordinator will facilitate enrollment in the Health Insurance Marketplace. FCHC provides a culture of teamwork, professionalism and mutual respect. The ideal candidate must be enthusiastic, motivated, hard-working and flexible, be able to multi-task, have a great attitude and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. The Enrollment & Outreach Coordinator, in collaboration with the health care team, is accountable for assisting out patients toward the highest level of health. Position requires the ability to work as a temporary schedule. This position reports directly to the Operations Director.
Requirements:

Dentist
As a Federally Qualified Health Center, FCHC Dentists are eligible for the National Health Services Corps loan repayment program. This program repays up to $50K for just two years of service!
As a member of FCHC, the Dentist is responsible for overseeing the development, management, and provision of primary oral health services and education. It is also the responsibility of the Dentist to provide comprehensive dental care including examination, diagnosis, treatment, patient counseling, referral, and follow-up.
Dental Hygienist

Behavioral Health Consultant (Adult) - LCSW

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Primary Care Providers (PCPs), Behavioral Health Care Managers, Registered Nurses (RNs), Medical Assistants (MAs), and Community Health Workers (CHWs) to provide comprehensive, integrated behavioral health care services.
- Deliver same-day behavioral health consultations for adult patients, including assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and brief interventions, as requested by the PCP.
- Present on behavioral health topics to PCPs and other healthcare team members to promote better understanding and integration of behavioral health in primary care.
- Supervise Graduate Social Work students or LMSWs, if applicable.
Clinical Practice Skills:

WIC Clerk

In this role, the WIC Clerk is responsible for assisting in the collection and entry of data needed for the certification process for WIC Program applicants. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provides clerical support to the nutrition department (answering telephone, scheduling appointments, etc.).
- Collects and enters WIC certification data, including demographic information and height, weight and bloodwork data.
- Issues WIC benefits and provides all aspects of the WIC program explanation.
