Attention Patients:

Family Care Health Centers is committed to keeping our patients and employees safe during the COVID-19 pandemic, especially during this most recent surge. Here are the ways we are here to support you:

  • Appointment Flexibility— If you are having symptoms, STAY HOME & CALL US. If you need to cancel an appointment, please call our office. We may be able to convert your appointment to telehealth or plan to have you see us for a visit with the right precautions.
  • Masking—Family Care is continuing to mandate masks during all appointments. Please wear your mask properly, covering your nose and mouth.
  • Testing—Although Family Care is no longer a community testing site, there are other ways to get tests.
  • VaccinationIf you’re not yet vaccinated, it’s not too late. The vaccine remains the best way we can combat this virus and keep yourself and your loved ones safe, well and out of the hospital.
    • Vaccines are available for those age 5 and above, and boosters are available to those 5 and older as well.
    • Boosters can now be given 5 months after you complete your initial round of vaccines.
    • Family Care has limited access to vaccines. To be scheduled, call the appointment line at 314-937-5100
  • Communication—Because our staff is stretched to the limit during this latest COVID-19 surge, you may experience longer hold times trying to reach your providers by phone. Signing up for our portal is a great way to send a message to your providers. Mass invites will be sent throughout the week. To access the patient portal, click here. We are now using EPIC as our electronic health record and have a new portal “MyChart” which requires a Family Care link – call us to have the link sent to you to register as a part of our Health Choice or HCNnetwork.
  • It’s up to usWe can pull through this together and you can help by getting vaccinated and continuing to practice safety measures such as wearing a mask in public, maintaining physical distancing, washing your hands often, and avoiding large crowds without the right protection (masks work and should be used if you have loved ones for whom COVID is risky – don’t bring it home to them).
