Certified Medical Assistant
Family Care Health Centers is looking for FULL-TIME (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM) and PART-TIME (12:00 PM to 6:00 PM) Medical Assistants to work as an integral role in our Health Operations department. As a member of FCHC, the Dentist is responsible for overseeing the development, management, and provision of primary oral health services and education. Dental Assistants are vital to our Dental team as they maintain the overall physical operations of the clinical area and assist the Dentist in the delivery of dental care services. - Coordinating patient flow with the receptionist and dental providers.
- Assisting the Dental Receptionist on an as needed basis.

- Deliver emergency psychiatric services to outpatient clients during contracted hours.
- Educate patients and their families on diagnoses and medication options.
- Refer patients to community resources such as vocational rehabilitation and support services.
- Consult with other members of the Behavioral Health team on diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient care.
- Assist in establishing psychiatric programs, protocols, and policies within the BH department.
Qualifications:
- Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) with a valid license to practice in the State of Missouri.
- Current DEA and BNDD certifications.
- Enrollment in Medicare and Medicaid programs, including a valid Medicare UPIN.
- Successful completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency program.
- Board certification in Psychiatry.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Psychiatry (preferred).

Behavioral Health Consultant - Psychologist (PEDIATRICS)

Psychologists are responsible for providing same-day behavioral health diagnostic assessments and interventions for patients of FCHC. In addition, Psychologist are responsible for the following:
- Collaborating with primary care providers, pediatric care managers, and other members of the team (nurses, MAs, and CHWs) in the delivery of comprehensive and integrated behavioral health care services.
- Provide same-day behavioral health consultations for patients of FCHC as requested by their PCP.
- Define problems accurately and use best practice to implement intervention rapidly.
- Conduct assessments with a solid understanding of DSM -5-TR, family systems, the connection between physical and mental health, and the impact of trauma on patients and families.
- Tailor PCP recommendations to the primary care setting; focus on recommendations that support the provider’s treatment of BH in primary care.
- Employ knowledge of BH medications to help PCPs treat complex BH conditions and substance use disorders, including consultation with psychiatry (internally. MOCPAP).
- To provide more comprehensive assessment (including psychological testing) for patients whose needs cannot be met by same-day consultations alone. To provide consultation to LCSWs, LMFTs, LPCs in the areas of diagnostic assessment, treatment, and primary care consultation skills in more complex cases.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in clinical psychology is required (from an APA accredited program).
- Active MO State License – REQUIRED.
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in the field.

Behavioral Health Care Manager (Adult)

- Function as the BH Care Manager within the integrated primary care and behavioral health team.
- In coordination with the BHC and Primary Care Provider (PCP), enroll eligible and interested patients into the Circle of Care project.
- Once the patient is enrolled, track patient progress towards grant outcomes.
- As often as clinically appropriate, face-to-face visits and telephone calls with Circle of Care patients and other members of the patient’s network over the course of their enrollment in the project (3 to 12 months).
- Establish and maintain patient registry to monitor clinical outcomes as well as key processes of care.
- Arrange for inpatient, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient programs as needed.
- Attend care team meetings and document clinical information/decision-making in the patient registry.
- Facilitate referrals to other outpatient therapists as indicated.
- Facilitate referrals to psychiatry as needed.
- Bill Care management services when appropriate.

You will play a critical role in maintaining regulatory compliance and facilitating smooth operations for our healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement processes, procedures, and policies in alignment with FCHC, HRSA, FTCA, and other relevant regulatory standards.
- Prepare credentialing and privileging documents for initial appointments and reappointments, ensuring timely submission for review by the Board of Directors, CEO, and Chief Medical Officer.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for credentialing and re-credentialing inquiries, providing clear instructions and guidance to providers throughout the process.
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, including FTCA, HRSA, and other applicable standards. Continuously monitor for regulatory changes and adjust credentialing practices accordingly.
- Coordinate with the HR department to ensure the timely credentialing and enrollment of new hires and providers, ensuring seamless onboarding.
- Process and manage credentialing forms for new providers, contracted staff, and clinical staff, including LIPs and OLCPs, and offer assistance as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date credentialing files for all licensed independent practitioners (LIPs), contracted employees, providers, and board members, ensuring compliance with certification and continuing education requirements.
Qualifications:
- Education: An Associate’s Degree in a related field is required; a Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare, business, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of experience in credentialing, provider enrollment, or healthcare administration is preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) is essential. Experience with web-based programs such as CAQH and learning management systems (e.g., RELIAS) is preferred.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of credentialing processes, healthcare regulations, and industry standards (e.g., NCQA, The Joint Commission).
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent time management and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Customer Service: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on providing excellent service to internal stakeholders and providers.
- Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Family Care Health Centers (FCHC) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Development and Fundraising Specialist to join our team. FCHC is the only federally qualified health center in St. Louis, recognized for providing exceptional healthcare services by physicians honored as Castle Connolly Top Doctors. Our mission is to deliver affordable and accessible primary care services to diverse populations, with a particular focus on the medically underserved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fundraising Management: Oversee all fundraising initiatives, including major gifts, giving clubs, grants, and special events, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Grant Writing Support: Conduct research on public and private sector grant opportunities, prepare grant applications, and submit proposals to secure funding.
- Fundraising Strategy Development: Create and implement a comprehensive fundraising plan aligned with the organization’s revenue goals.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze fundraising data to evaluate effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to strategies.
- Collaborative Initiatives: Work closely with the Marketing and PR Manager and CFO to develop an online giving club.
- Donor Relations: Lead efforts to cultivate relationships with individuals, corporations, and foundations, focusing on annual fund development and donor engagement.
- Financial Coordination: Collaborate with the Finance Department to ensure accurate reporting of donations and timely communication with donors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, with a proven track record in major gifts, corporate and foundation giving, and special events.
- Knowledge of the Greater St. Louis area’s fundraising landscape.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling donor communications and marketing materials.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
